The Paxton Bobcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They strolled past Laurel Hill with points to spare, taking the game 73-57. With that victory, Paxton brought their scoring average up to 52.6 points per game.
Paxton had a senior duo take command as Sawyer Adams scored 13 points along with six rebounds and Noah Morgan scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Morgan also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Stewart, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Paxton's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Laurel Hill, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-5.
Paxton will take on Long in a holiday battle at 5:00 p.m. on Friday at. Laurel Hill's road trip will continue as they head out to face Freeport at 5:30 p.m. on December 18th.
