The West Boylston Lions will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Norfolk County Agricultural Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norfolk County Agricultural took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on West Boylston, who comes in off a win.
West Boylston had to endure a 20-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Murdock 62-27 at home. The victory was just what West Boylston needed coming off of a 75-40 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Norfolk County Agricultural's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Avon at home and fell 85-36. Norfolk County Agricultural was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-22.
The win got West Boylston back to even at 1-1. As for Norfolk County Agricultural, they bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
