Davenport put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Marion Bulldogs by a score of 60-49. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Davenport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brandon Castilla, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points and three steals. Castilla is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Richard Groff, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Marion lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Travis Randle, who had 13 points and eight boards. Nathaniel Halter was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.

Davenport's record now sits at 11-0. As for Marion, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Davenport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-25 win against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 12th. As for Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-33 victory against Hallettsville on the 12th.
