The result came thanks to Dan Sinclair's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Noah Napier, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. He is becoming a predictor of Seminary's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't). The result came thanks to Noah Westbrook's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up 11 Ks. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in May of 2024.
On the hitting side, Trey Barnes was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Taylorsville's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 runs over those games. As for Seminary, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 4-2.
Taylorsville's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Seminary hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having got 0 of their hits per game.
