Keota was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight  defeat. They lost  10-4 to the Iowa Valley Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Keota of the  22-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in June of 2023.
 Keota saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Elyse Lyle, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaylah Redlinger, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 1-for-2.
 Keota's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keota will take on Tri-County at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Iowa Valley, they will be playing at home against Belle Plaine at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
