Notre Dame de Sion's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abby Wendte, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Wendte is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Taelyn Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Lee's Summit North's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Notre Dame de Sion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.
