The Liberty Ranch Hawks suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2023 on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 65-43 loss at the hands of Bradshaw Christian. Liberty Ranch was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.
Liberty Ranch's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elliott Hawker, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Yousef Diab, who scored eight points along with two steals and two blocks.
Leading Bradshaw Christian to victory were Josh O'neal and Isaac Jensen. O'neal scored 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Jensen dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. AJ Torres was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Liberty Ranch and nudges their season record down to 7-12. As for Bradshaw Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Ranch will challenge Galt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Galt is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Bradshaw Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Rosemont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Amahd Ellis and O'neal.
