Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bangor). They breezed by the Palisades Pirates to the tune of 74-27 on Saturday. The Slaters have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season.

Palisades' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sebastian LaRosa, who posted 11 points.

Bangor's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Palisades, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Bangor will head out on the road to square off against Jim Thorpe at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Bangor is facing Jim Thorpe at the right time seeing as Jim Thorpe is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Palisades, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Southern Lehigh at 6:45 p.m.
