On Friday, The Mobile Christian Leopards got themselves on the board against the Flomaton Hurricanes, but the Flomaton Hurricanes never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over the Hurricanes on the road. Fans of Mobile Christian have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Mobile Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but PJ Brown led the charge by rushing for 106 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Brown's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Mobile Christian also got help from Michael mj Moore who showed off his sure hands for 112 receiving yards.
Mobile Christian's victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Flomaton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mobile Christian will take on Thomasville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Thomasville will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Flomaton, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Monroe County at 7:00 p.m. Monroe County has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since September first.
