Leading The Webb Schools to victory were Pristine Thomas and Xajani Badkar. Thomas dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Badkar dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Badkar has scored at least 25% of The Webb Schools' points. Geniya Parker was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
The Webb Schools' win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Webb Schools will take on Rio Hondo Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rio Hondo Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
