The Brook Hill Guard have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a tough blow on Saturday as they fell 47-33 to Dallas Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Brook Hill has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Brook Hill still got an impressive performance from Brenna Hill, who scored 18 points along with three steals. That was a full 54.5% of Brook Hill's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Brook Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Dallas Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.
Brook Hill will head out on the road to face off against Covenant at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Covenant is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Dallas Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Vanguard College Prep at 6:00 p.m. Vanguard College Prep is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
