The North Kissimmee Christian Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 23 points or more this season. They breezed by Family Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 83-32. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-17.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Kissimmee Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Morales, who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. The game was Morales' eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Izaiah Noel, who scored 19 points along with three steals.
North Kissimmee Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Family Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Kissimmee Christian is on the road again on Monday and play against Heritage Christian School at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th. Heritage Christian School is on a seven-game streak of home wins, North Kissimmee Christian a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Family Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Liberty Christian Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Liberty Christian Prep is ranked 777th, while Family Christian Academy is ranked 794th).
