After a string of three wins, the Oakwood Panthers's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fruitvale.
Defeat or not, Oakwood got some senior leadership from Jarvis Jones who scored 12 points and Jackson Ballard who scored 8 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tirrec Jackson , who scored 5 points.
Oakwood's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Fruitvale, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Oakwood will face off against Trenton at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Fruitvale, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Union Hill at 6:00 p.m. Union Hill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
