The University of Georgia beat out the University of Florida for two of the nation's premier football recruits on Friday night, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Both of them are in-state players who had Florida No. 2 on their list.
First to commit was Bolles (Jacksonville, Fla.) rising senior lineman
John Theus, who is ranked as the No. 6 player in the nation by
CBS/MaxPreps recruiting analyst Tom Lemming. He is the No. 1-ranked offensive tackle at 6-foot-6 and 301 pounds.
Theus' brother, Nathan, is a long snapper who already attends Georgia.
Then the Bulldogs added a premier junior running back,
Derrick Henry of
Yulee (Yulee, Fla.). During his first two varsity years, the 6-4, 222-pound Henry has run for over 5,300 yards and 65 touchdowns.
