Jamontez Hines of
Carver (Atlanta) has earned MaxPreps Georgia High School Football Player of the Week honors.
Hines recorded five sacks in a 28-12 win over LaGrange. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound senior defensive lineman received 32,381 votes.

Buford: Senior Florida State commit had an interception, a receiving touchdown and six tackles in shutout win over nationally-ranked St. Frances Academy.

Langston Hughes (Fairburn): Junior edge rusher had two sacks and 10 tackles in a 39-34 win over nationally-ranked Carrollton.

Neko Fann,
Colquitt County (Norman Park): Senior quarterback threw for four touchdowns and ran for another in 48-17 win over Dutch Fork.

Jermaine Mack,
Glynn Academy (Brunswick): Sophomore cornerback intercepted four passes and forced a fumble in 21-0 win over Statesboro.

Davis Little,
South Forsyth (Cumming): Senior kicker booted field goals of 57 and 60 yards in a 37-20 loss to Lainier.
