With the U.S. Olympic swimming trials reaching a fevered pitch in Omaha this week, the
National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association recently released its list of high school All-Americans.
The lists compile the top 100 performances in each event during the recently completed school year. Utah ranked 31st overall nationally in the number of athletes, while California came in at No. 1 with 750 honorees.
Led by Long Gutierrez of Brighton and Brianna Francis of Alta, Utah had nine boys All-Americans and three girls honorees, respectively.
