Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, Fla.), a small school power in the power state of Florida.
The 6-foot, 165-pounder played quarterback, receiver and also ran the ball for the Conquerors.
He threw for 733 yards and nine touchdowns, rushed 460 yards and eight scores and caught 17 passes for 294 yards and two more scores.
Matthews will likely stick to catching passes at Florida State. He's ranked the eighth-best wide receiver in the country by 247Sports and No. 51 recruit overall.
He had 26 college offers, but he almost assuredly will sign on the dotted line at Florida State on Feb. 1, National Signing Day.
