This week's postseason excitement didn't throw the rankings into complete disarray, but it did reorder the standings a decent amount. Among the action were the efforts of Manheim Central's junior Evan Simon, an offensive menace who scored five total TDs.
No Stoppin 'Em
The MaxPreps rankings indicated that Pine-Richland would come out the decided victor last week, and the rankings were spot on. It took its game against State College by a confident 56 - 33 score. Junior Luke Meckler was a big part of the win as his strong performance led the charge (he rushed for 209 yards and two touchdowns). The combined 89 points was the most of any game featuring a power-ranked team.

It was a battle of top-notch squads when St. Joseph's Prep (1st in the power rankings) took on Freedom (16th) last week. St. Joseph's Prep blew past Freedom 42 - 14. The win raised St. Joseph's Prep up one spot in the power rankings.
Movin on Up
Bishop McDevitt has been an offensive powerhouse for 12 straight weeks after the team lit up the scoreboard again last week. It claimed a 41 - 31 victory over Berks Catholic. Senior CJ Reyes-Diggs deserves a lot of the credit as he ran for 159 yards and also punched in three touchdowns. The success catapulted Bishop McDevitt 15 spots up the power rankings, enough to make it the biggest riser of the week.
