The USA Basketball U17 women's team brought home its sixth straight gold medal Sunday beating Canada 87-57 at the FIBA World Cup in Mexico.
The run to the title was a record-setting performance for the Americans. MVP

Diamond DeSheilds in 2012.
The
United States went 7-0 in the event, winning by an average margin of 48 points per game and breaking team records
by averaging 100 points per game and 62 rebounds per contest.
The gold also cemented a sweep for the junior national teams, which won men's and women's U17 and U18 titles.
