Video: Early Contenders - No. 4 Archer
MaxPreps introduces the No. 4 team in the nation.2015 Georgia Preseason Football Fab 5, presented by the Army National Guard
1. Archer (Lawrenceville)Coach: Andy Dyer
2015 finish: 11-4
Team previewArcher has the pieces in place to be a dominant team in 2015. It is teeming with impressive skill players like
Kyle Davis and
Dylan Singleton, and is loaded on the other side of the ball with defensive backs
Jamyest Williams and
Isaiah Pryor.
EJ Price, one of the country's top tackles, is a key transfer. The key for the team could be the play of quarterback
Will Bearden, who was a backup last season.

2015 finish: 15-0; AAAAAA state champion
Team previewSince the arrival of Rush Propst, Colquitt County has been a consistent state title threat. The team went the distance in 2014, and could do the same this fall. Experienced quarterback
Chase Parrish is back after tossing for 2,835 yards and 26 scores. His favorite targets also return in
Kiel Pollard and
Qwazavia "Ty" Lee. The pair combined for over 1,600 yards and 19 scores. Sihiem King's 2,000-plus rushing yards and 37 touchdowns will be difficult to replace. Early games against North Gwinnett and Plant (Tampa, Fla.) will be good barometers for how well Colquitt County has reloaded.

McEachern entered 2014 with considerable hype, but 2015 could be the year that it takes home a state title for Cobb County. Georgia commit
Bailey Hockman is primed for a huge junior season after throwing for 3,597 yards and 42 scores as just a sophomore. Running back
Sam Jackson and receiver
Tyler Smith both return, but will be without the luxury of five-star lineman Chuma Edoga, now at USC. On defense, tackle
Julian Rochester should improve upon his 88 tackles and 11 sacks a year ago.

2015 finish: 10-2
Team previewGrayson captured a state title during Robert Nkemdiche's time at the school. In 2015, the Rams could capture the program's first state title in the post-Nkemdiche era. The headliner on offense is
Chase Brice, an incoming junior who already has a Clemson offer. Running back
Cameryn Brent has two years of experience under his belt and should enjoy a huge senior campaign. The defense boasts another 6-foot-5 defensive end,
Bryce Morais, a Boston College commit, as well as tackle
Chris Martin. The secondary should be another strength.

2015 finish: 15-0; Class AAAA state champion
Team previewBuford's run of dominance has been staggering. It has captured three consecutive state titles and has won 10 games or more in 16 consecutive seasons. Put simply, betting against Buford is unwise. With defensive tackle
Shug Frazier and linebackers
William Dale Craig,
Brett Shepherd and
Dillon Vann all back, the front seven should be fierce.
Xavier Gantt, a Georgia Tech commit, will be a key weapon on offense. The transfer of Isaac Nauta hurts, but replacing key players is something Buford does every season.
