Bradey Henige of
Cactus (Glendale, Ariz.) is this week's boys high school basketball Stat Freak after scoring 40 points and pulling down 23 rebounds in an 80-37 win over Goldwater (Phoenix) on Jan. 20.
The 7-foot, 240-pound center shot 78 percent in the game and also blocked four shots with five steals for the 18-4 Cobras. Henige leads the nation in rebounding and even had a triple-double where he hit double-figures in points, rebounds and blocks in December.
Senior
Breya Cunningham of
La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, Calif.) is the girls Stat Freak after putting up big numbers over No. 23 Conway (Ark.) on Jan. 21 in the GEICO Girls Basketball Invitational.
Cunningham, an Arizona commit, recorded 36 points, 17 rebounds, five steals and four blocks in the 73-67 win.
