Video: Top 10 Football Plays of the Week Steve Montoya and Chris Stonebraker highlight the best of the best from the past week.
High school football rivalries come in all shapes and sizes. From two perennial championship contenders battling for a state title to a pair of neighboring small towns simply fighting for bragging rights, rivalries are a big part of the Friday night fabric that makes high school football so popular.
MaxPreps takes a look at 25 of the nation's best rivalries and attempts to rank them based on length of the rivalry, number of games, closeness of the series and importance of the matchup (based on state titles).
While the Jenks-Union matchup in Oklahoma is a relatively new rivalry, it's hard to beat a matchup that regularly features state championship teams and is played in front of nearly 40,000 fans.
