Do believe the hype. No. 1 vs. No. 2 is here — No. 1 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) vs. No. 2 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.).

The Trinity League showdown comes a few weeks after Mater Dei beat IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), but might not be the last time the Braves and Monarchs meet on their way toward a CIF state title.

Allen (Texas) leaps both St. John's (Washington, D.C.) and IMG into third in this week's composite rankings as the Eagles continue to roll through the Lone Star State.
