A pair of undefeated teams highlight the first MaxPreps Regional Baseball Computer Rankings of the 2014 season.
Lambert (Suwanee, Ga.), which is ranked No. 2 in the
MaxPreps Xcellent 25
with a 25-0 record, is No. 1 in the Southern Region. Meanwhile St. Mark's (Wilmington, Del.) is the top team in the Northeast with an 8-0 record.
Other No. 1 teams include Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.) in the West, Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, Ill.) in the Midwest and Fayetteville (Ark.) in the Southwest.
The regional rankings are compiled by splitting the nation into five separate regions (with 10 states in each region) and using the
MaxPreps Computer Rankings
to determine the top 10 teams in those regions.
