The 2023 high school football season in Utah kicks off later this month and MaxPreps has your look at the state's top teams.
Corner Canyon (Draper) owns the No. 1 spot in the Preseason MaxPreps Top 25.
Corner Canyon has played for a state championship in each of the past five seasons. The Chargers captured the the Class 5A crown in 2018 and the 6A title in 2019 and 2020. But the program fell in the final to
Lone Peak (Highland) in 2021 and
Skyridge (Lehi) in 2022.
Fueling optimism for a return to the top in 2023 is senior quarterback
Isaac Wilson, who threw for over 3,700 yards and 40 touchdowns as a junior. Wilson committed to Utah in May over 18 other FBS offers.
Rankings are computer-generated, factoring in past results and adjustments such as returners and statistical date when available.
