Harrison is tied with Lawrence North (Indianapolis) for No.1 with 23 sacks and ranks No. 7 with 603 tackles. Harrison's sacks have produced 154 lost yards.
No other teams rank among the state's top 10 in three key defensive categories.
Southwood (Wabash) is the No. 1 team in tackles with 682, which includes 275 solos and 407 assists. Southwood also has 30 tackles for losses. Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette) is second with 647 tackles and has 386 solos. Northwestern (Kokomo) has 75 tackles for losses.
The interception king is Covenant Christian (Indianapolis) with 16 thefts, or 2.3 per game. Right behind are Triton Central (Fairland) and New Palestine with 15 each. No. 5 Columbus North (Columbus) has returned its 13 interceptions for a total of 307 yards.
