Video: Top 10 Plays of the Week Watch the very best from Week 10 throughout the country.
These were the sharp-shooters, the top 50 boys basketball 3-point makers in the country for 2019-20.
When teams needed long-range shooting, these were the players who made the most 3s.
Of the top 50, 28 were seniors, 14 were juniors, seven were sophomores and one was a freshman, he being Asher Fubich, a guard for Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, Minn.) who made 115 3-pointers in 286 attempts (40 percent).
Texas was by far the leader of the pack in most 3s made, but some of that had to do with the state playing more games than any other. Still, 17 of the 50 top 3-point makers came from the Long Horn state, compared to California, North Carolina, Illinois and Indiana with three each.
Kentucky, Alabama, Missouri, Arizona, Louisiana and Virginia had two Top-50 3-point shooters, while Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Florida, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas had one apiece.
The national leader was Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, Texas) senior Noah Taylor with 187 3-pointers on the year. No one else had more than 158.
Below are the final Top 50 3-point makers in high school basketball for the 2019-20 season as submitted to MaxPreps.
