10 future Heisman Trophy candidates from the Class of 2018

A look at senior stars who could be on the verge of garnering Heisman hype.

Is there a Lamar Jackson or Baker Mayfield in the Class of 2018?

Based on their high school play, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Class of 2018 quarterbacks JT Daniels or Trevor Lawrence accepting the Heisman Trophy on a future mid-December Saturday night.

Or perhaps both.

Two recent high school classes have produced multiple Heisman winners.

Class of 2011 graduates Johnny Manziel (2012 winner) and Marcus Mariota (2014) both went on to earn college football's top honor.

Derrick Henry (2015) and Baker Mayfield (2017) did the same from the Class of 2013.
