Harper is the son of Ron Harper, who was selected with the No. 8 pick in the first round of the 1986 NBA Draft and went on to have a successful 15-year career. He averaged 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists across 1,009 career games in the league and was a five-time NBA champion as a member of the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.
Ron Harper averaged 22.9 points, 4.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 steals per contest while playing all 82 games as a rookie and tallied 19.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.1 steals per outing over the course of his first eight seasons in the NBA.

Could the ceiling be even higher for Dylan?
The 6-foot-4 combo guard has continued to develop into one of the top prospects regardless of classification in high school basketball. He earned second team MaxPreps All-America honors last season after averaging 24.9 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals to guide Don Bosco Prep to a record of 26-3.
Dylan is in the top five in the Nike EYBL in points and assists per game, averaging 19.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game while shooting 51.8 percent from the field and 37.9 percent from the free throw line.
