For the seventh straight season,
Rockhurst (Kansas City) has finished at the top of the Missouri boys high school swimming and diving standings, tying Ladue Horton Watkins for the longest such streak.
Senior Matthew Margritier led the way for the Hawklets by winning four gold medals and breaking a pair of state records in the process. Margritier won the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races in state-record times of 20.38 seconds and 44.73 seconds respectively. He also swam anchor on Rockhurst's 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays.
The Hawklets outdistanced runner-up Springfield-Glendale 276-163 in the team standings. Parkway Central finished third with 153 points, while Lafayette (St. Louis) and Parkway South rounded out the top five with 138 and 131 points respectively.
