The mobile 6-foot-1, 211-pounder committed to Arizona on Friday. He has accounted for 9,040 yards and 115 touchdowns in three years at the small San Diego Section school. Burmeister is ranked the No. 9 dual-threat quarterback in the country (No. 260 overall) by
247Sports.
Derrick Tucker, a safety from
Manvel (Texas), has committed to Texas A&M. Ranked the 14th-best safety in the country (146 overall), the 6-3, 180-pound Tucker had four interceptions and 49 tackles last season for Manvel, which went 11-3.
