Sports Illustrated, Todd plans to sign an agent. It is unclear whether he will pursue professional options overseas or the NBA G-League.
Under current NBA rules, Todd is unable to enter the 2020 NBA Draft, although changes may be on the horizon in the near future.
The 6-foot-10 forward is the latest prospect to announce he would be
forgoing college to pursue professional options, joining fellow elite
Class of 2020 prospects
Josh Hall and
MarJon Beauchamp among others.
Other players who have decided to skip college for the professional route in recent years include LaMelo Ball, R.J. Hampton, Darius Bazley and Anfernee Simons.
Todd is regarded as the No. 13 prospect in the Class
of 2020 according to 247Sports. He earned invitations to both the McDonald's All-American game and Jordan Brand Classic after a strong senior campaign.
