Shore - Central B recap Oct. 23, 2012
Point Pleasant Beach extended the longest winning streak in Shore - Central B this week by beating Highland Park, 49-23. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Keyport/Hudson Regional moved up to 212 from 245 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Raiders were able to make move up by besting Keansburg 41-0.
Shore Regional's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Muh has thrown for 531 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Tyler Vivian has seven catches for 155 yards. Jack Kelly leads the league in rushing with 398 yards.
Shore Regional took down Mater Dei 47-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Muh threw for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
