There were several changes in the rankings in many of the regions this week, as some states began to play regular season games.
The most notable changes took place in the South, where Buford (Ga.) made a huge climb to No. 5 thanks to a convincing win over preseason No. 2 Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, Fla.). In the same region, Mallard Creek (Charlotte, N.C.) and North Gwinnett (Suwanee, Ga.) broke high into the rankings after big opening night wins.
As most states kick off this coming weekend, expect many changes in next week's rankings.
