Senaya Parker of
Samuel Fels (Philadelphia) is this week's Stat Freak after scoring 56 points on Jan. 25 then 57 more two days later. The sophomore turned defense into offense with 10 steals in each game.
Parker is first in the nation with 43.8 points per game and she has scored at least 50 points in five games this season with a high of 59 coming on Jan. 11.
Kase Wynott of
Lapwai (Idaho) is the boys stat freak after putting up 52 points in a 77-42 win over Logos (Moscow) on Jan. 28. The junior shot 74 percent from the field and buried five 3-pointers. Wynott is the ninth-leading scorer in the nation and filled up the stat sheet by adding 15 rebounds, six assists, four steals and four blocks.
It was the highest scoring output of the season for Wynott, who has scored at least 30 points in 15 of his team’s 18 games — all wins.
