The Pac-12 Conference has secured another
Chad Johnson.
This one is Chad Johnson Jr. and he's the son of former Oregon State and Cincinnati Bengal star receiver by the same name.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound junior receiver from
Venice (Los Angeles, Calif.). just committed to Arizona State.
He told 247Sports recruiting reporter
Greg Biggins the key to his commitment were long term relationships with the coaching staff.
"I have a great relationship with coach Herm Edwards and Antonio Pierce and I want to play for those guys," Johnson Jr. told Biggins. "You can't get better than AP and coach Herm and I think I can come in and make an immediate impact at ASU. When I called to tell them I was ready to commit, they were super lit. Herm was super happy and that's why I can't wait to play for him, he's a great guy.
"I know it's early but ASU is home for me and I'm really excited about my decision."
Johnson Jr. is rated the 31st top receiver nationally in the Class of 2020 by
