self-promoting rapper, but his play on the court has promoted itself around the high school basketball scene.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound senior shooting guard was arguably the top sophomore in the DMV, ending the 2011-12 season as the second-leading scorer in the powerful Washington Catholic Athletic Conference at 19.7 points per game and earning honorable mention on the
MaxPreps Sophomore All-American Team.
As a junior, the Knights standout earned MVP honors with 34 points, seven assists and six rebounds as Bishop O'Connell rolled past
Benedictine (Richmond, Va.) 85-75 to win the championship of the 53rd annual Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament. O'Connell basketball posted a 34-5 overall record lead by Trimble, a Washington Post All-Met first team choice who put up more than 20 points per game against Bishop O'Connell's rigorous schedule.
Before his senior season tipped off, the No. 34 overall recruit according to
247sports signed with the Maryland Terrapins, deciding to stay within a half-hour drive on I-495 from his Arlington-based high school campus.
Last night O'Connell defeated the 32-5
Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore) Gaels 72-66 in the first round of the Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament to take their overall record to 19-11 on the season. Trimble scored a game-high 25 points.
