Columbus (Miami, Fla.) won the City of Palms Classic slam dunk contest Wednesday night after earning combined scores of 74.5 out of 80 on his first two slams and a perfect combined score of 80 in the championship round. The five-star sophomore edged out
Isaiah Abraham of
Paul VI (Chantilly, Va.), who received a scored a perfect score of 80 out of 80 in his final round as well before being edged in a dunk-off.
The tie-breaking dunk was a 360 over his brother, Michigan State signee
Jase Richardson. Abraham threw down a dunk over his teammate Rhode Island signee
Ben Hammond.
For his two dunks in the championship round, Richardson dunked over his brother Jase before twisting his body for a reverse slam before he went behind his back for another slam and perfect score.

Abraham threw down his first dunk of the final round after going behind his back for the slam before taking off from a step inside the free throw line for another perfect score.
To earn his spot in the final round, Richardson earned a perfect score after throwing down a windmill dunk on his first attempt before paying homage to his father — two-time NBA slam dunk champion Jason Richardson — by dunking over him along with his teammate

Abraham also received a pair of perfect scores in the first round after throwing to himself and completing a clean between-the-legs slam. The other was a dunk over three teammates after receiving a pass off the backboard.
Duke signee
Darren Harris of No. 1 Paul VI won the 3-point contest earlier in the night for the second consecutive season.
