John Stephen Jones threw for 150 yards and four touchdowns Thursday as his Scots knocked off Mansfield Timberview (Arlington) 34-32.
A field goal with less than a minute to go gave Highland Park the win.
But leave it up Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones (along with son, Cowboys vice president and John Stephen's dad, Stephen) to upstage the drama on the field by showing up to the game in a helicopter.
And not just any helicopter, but one emblazoned with the Cowboys' famous five-pointed star.

His family ties have put him in the spotlight, but John Stephen is an outstanding high school quarterback. The 5-foot-11, 185-pounder threw for 3,017 yards and 30 touchdowns as a junior.
In three games this fall, Jones has thrown for 808 yards and 11 touchdowns.
