It's title time in the Sac-Joaquin Section.
The Division I game features No. 1 Folsom against No. 3 Oak Ridge on Saturday night at Sacramento State with the winner to draw the North Coast Section D-I winner between De La Salle (Concord) and California (San Ramon).
The section D-II title game on Friday has No. 2 Del Oro taking on No. 4 Elk Grove with the winner likely to draw the Central Coast Section Open champion, either Serra (San Mateo) or Archbishop Mitty (San Jose).

1. (Last week 1) Folsom (13-0)The Bulldogs got a wake-up call in victory in facing a very motivated and skilled Jesuit (Carmichael) team that nearly pulled a shocker. Folsom won 42-35 in a Sac-Joaquin Section Division I semifinal to reach a title game for the fourth successive season, the last three in D-II.
Jake Browning passed for 383 yards and a TD and ran for two. Folsom has gone 27-1 the last two seasons.

2. (2) Del Oro (Loomis) (11-2)The Golden Eagles beat Yuba City 52-26 in Sac-Joaquin Section D-II semifinal action.
Michael Moore tossed five touchdowns, three to
Tyler Meteer. Del Oro seeks the program's ninth section title since 1989. The Golden Eagles are unbeaten in section play and last lost to De La Salle.

3. (3) Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) (12-1)The Trojans beat a Delta River League foe in No. 5 Pleasant Grove for the second time, this time 26-20 in a Sac-Joaquin Section D-I semifinal.
Tanner Hughes rushed for three touchdowns after scoring that many all season coming in. Oak Ridge is a four-time D-II section winner back in the D-I title game for the second straight season. The loss was to Folsom.

The Thundering Herd beat Rio Linda 22-14 in a wild Sac-Joaquin Section D-II semifinal.
Noah Letuligasenoa Ta'amu scored on a 70-yard fumble return and
Tommy Arnold and
Spencer Sheff scored rushing touchdowns. Arnold,
Elijah Jones and
Dior Vela combined for 42 tackles.

Alex Laurel rushed for 173 yards and a score and
Joe Menzel passed for a touchdown. The lone loss was to Wilcox (Santa Clara), a setback that helped the team more than it hurt, coaches said.

9. (11) Central Catholic (Modesto) (12-1)The Raiders beat Ripon 38-7 in Sac-Joaquin Section D-IV semifinal play in looking the part of defending state champions.
Matt Ringer rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns for a program that has won a record 16 section titles.

10. (11) Vacaville (8-4), season completeThe Bulldogs lost to Rio Linda in D-II play a week after beating Rocklin.
11. (13) Rocklin (7-4), season completeThe Thunder lost a D-II playoff opener to Vacaville, which lost to Rio Linda, which explains these rankings a bit. Lost the Sierra Foothill League title by a point to No. 2 Del Oro.
12. (9) Inderkum (Sacramento) (10-3), season completeThe Tigers lost to No. 8 Manteca 45-36 in a section D-III semifinal, ending the careers of senior anchors such as
C. J. Spencer,
Jordan Thomas and a host of others. Other losses were to Rocklin and Pleasant Grove.
13. (10) Yuba City (11-2), season completeThe Honkers lost to No. 2 Del Oro 56-26 in D-II semifinal play, capping the program's second-finest season. The other loss was to No. 12 Inderkum in league play.
Isaac Lessard passed for 368 yards against Del Oro and returns next season. Seniors such as

The Dragons are ranked below Burbank due to a loss to the Titans, the last time the team has tasted defeat. Sacramento beat Christian Brothers 48-38 in a D-III semifinal as
Caden Voges passed for 529 yards and
Damen Wheeler caught eight passes for a state-record 380 yards and four touchdowns, each for 67 or more yards.
Lonny Powell rushed for 88 yards and iced the game with a 48-yard TD.
