1. Class C1 No. 4 Bishop Neumann (Wahoo) (5-0) at Class C1 No. 1 Wahoo (5-0), Oct. 11What can we say? This one has it all. Cross-town rivals, both of these powerhouse programs made the state semifinals a year ago before falling to elimination. Wahoo won 14-12 a year ago.
2. Class A No. 1 Millard West (Omaha) (5-0) at Class A No. 8 Grand Island (5-0), Oct. 11It took two overtimes for Millard West, this year's Class A favorite, to pull out a 30-24 thriller last fall. Expect more of the same next week.

Wolverine fans, however, think BRLD has the team to put an end to the slide.
4. Class B No. 7 Bennington (2-3) at Class B No. 10 Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn) (5-0), Oct. 25Don't let Bennington's record fool you. The Badgers have wins against Norris (eighth in Class B) and Seward (ninth in Class B) while their losses are to Omaha Skutt Catholic (second in Class B), Waverly (third in Class B) and Omaha Roncalli Catholic (fifth in Class B). Mt. Michael, meanwhile, just keeps rolling along.
5. Class B No. 2 Skutt Catholic (Omaha) (5-0) at Class B No. 3 Waverly (5-0), Oct. 11The Skyhawks scored a two touchdown regular season win over Waverly a year ago. Skutt then eliminated the Vikings 34-14 in the Class B semifinals before claiming the state title. Waverly hasn't forgotten and is eager to host this Class B football behemoth next weekend.
6. Class D2 No. 4 Johnson-Brock (Johnson) (3-1) at Class D2 No. 2 Sacred Heart (Falls City) (4-0), Oct. 24The Eagles edged Sacred Heart on their way to the Class D2 state title a year ago. Doug Goltz's Irish appear to be a team to beat in 2019 while Johnson-Brock has simply reloaded.
7. Class D1 No. 4 Cambridge (4-0) at Class D1 No. 5 Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman) (4-0), Oct. 18A year ago, the Trojans earned their first win over Dundy County-Stratton since joining the Eight-Man ranks in 2016. Heartland Lutheran missed the postseason following a 4-4 season. It's a new year and both clubs are on a collision course to compete beyond the regular season.
10. Class C1 No. 7 Ord (3-2) at Class C1 No. 9 Gothenburg (4-1), Oct. 24The Swedes gave defending Class C1 state runner-up Ord everything it could handle in a 10-7 loss last fall. Now Craig Haake's club is ready to take the next step and make a deep run of its own. The Chanticleers, meanwhile, should be plenty motivated. You see, Ord has unfinished business to attend to.
