In one of the biggest rivalry games in the country each season,
Trinity (Louisville, Ky.) rocked
St. Xavier (Louisville, Ky.) 41-6 in front of over 30,000 fans.
Trinity has made a habit of jumping on teams early, and this game was no different. The Shamrocks marched 80 yards down the field on its opening drive and scored on a

Dawkins broke free again on a 19-yard run for a score and Quick, who finished with eight catches for 155 yards and two scores, threw for a third touchdown to quickly stretch Trinity's lead to 27-6.
Trinity added two more fourth-quarter touchdowns in the romp.
St. Xavier has lost 7 of the last 12 games to its arch rival, including a pair of blowout losses last season.
This was Trinity's first game against a team from the Blue Grass State. The Shamrocks started 5-0 with wins over perennial power programs from the states of Tennessee, Ohio and Indiana.
