Franklinton (Franklinton, La.) - 20
Abilene scored the final 21 points of the game to put away Franklinton. Ronnell Sims passed for 240 yards and two scores and also rushed for a touchdown to lead the Eagles to their 17th straight win. He completed 18 of 33 passes and also rushed for 78 yards. Herschel Sims gained 60 yards on 13 carries and was hampered by a shoulder injury throughout the contest.
No. 3 South Panola (Batesville, Miss.) - 39
Memphis University (Memphis, Tenn.) - 2
The Tigers ended Memphis University's 28-game win streak and extended their own win streak to 15 games in a row with the big win. South Panola (3-0), gave up its only points on a safety when a snap went out of the end zone. However Qyendairs Griffin added a 93-yard run for a score and then went in from eight and 31 yards out. He finished with 230 yards on 15 carries.

Tyler Cain rushed for 114 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead West Monroe to 40-point win.

No. 10 Glenville (Cleveland, Ohio) - 26
V'Angelo Bentley scored the gamewinning touchdown midway through the fourth quarter for Glenville. Trailing 22-6, the Tarblooders got back in the game on an 83-yard kickoff return by Shane Wynn. A few seconds later, Dwyer had a bad snap on a punt attempt go into the end zone with Glenville's Devonte Morgan recovering for the touchdown to make it 22-20. Dwyer scored two quick touchdowns to take a 22-6 lead on a 49-yard pass from Jacoby Brisset to Nick O'Leary. Dwyer added another TD on the first play after the kickoff when Glenville fumbled and Curt Maggitt returned it to the end zone for a 22-6 lead.

Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, Utah) - 3
Stefan Cantwell threw four touchdown passes and also ran for a pair of scores in Bingham's win. He connected on a 17-yard TD pass to Sean Larson and a 25-yard toss to Josh Smith. He also hit Dalton Fackrell twice for touchdowns.

Hendrickson (Pflugerville, Texas) - 24
The Cavaliers (2-0) had quarterback Michael Brewer leave late in the game after taking a hit to his throwing shoulder, but they still managed to pick up their 48th consecutive win. Kenny Williams ran for 268 yards on 22 carries for Hendrickson with touchdown runs of 39 and 84 yards. He also returned a fumble 65 yards for a score. For Lake Travis, Brewer passed for over 300 yards and two touchdowns.
No. 11 Manatee (Bradenton, Fla.) - 39
Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, Pa.) - 16
The Hurricanes blew past Woodland Hills, scoring the final 30 points of the game to win their first official game of the season (Manatee defeated Plant last week in an exhibition game). Cord Sandberg completed 15 of 22 passes for 329 yards and four touchdowns to lead Manatee. Mike Blakely added 83 yards on 12 carries with a nine-yard touchdown run.
No. 12 Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) - 7
Gilman (Baltimore, Md.) - 28
One week after knocking off St. Xavier, Our Lady of Good Counsel fell to Gilman at the I-95 Classic. Darius Jennings led Gilman with 142 yards rushing on 25 carries with one rushing touchdown and one passing touchdown. Gilman also got a defensive touchdown when Devon Porchia picked off a pass and returned it 30 yards for a score. MaxPreps correspondent Jon Buzby covered the game and I-95 Classic.

Oceanside (Oceanside, Calif.) - 7
The Friars won the showdown between defending state champions in California. Servite, the Division II champ, got two touchdown passes from Cody Pittman and a pair of scores from Butch Pauu. Jody Thomas also had a fumble return for a score and had two interceptions on defense. The loss ended a 39-game unbeaten streak for Oceanside.

Spain Park (Hoover, Ala.) - 0
Hoover (2-0) racked up 504 yards of total offense with quarterback Ryan Carter completing 15 of 24 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns. Caleb Sims had three of those scores.

York (York, S.C.) - 0
Robert Joseph caught two touchdown passes from Justin Worley, who finished the night with four scoring tosses. The Trojan senior completed 26 of 37 passes for 264 yards while Joseph caught 10 passes for 74 yards. Stewart Hunt and LaThomas Long each caught a touchdown pass with Long also running 12 yards for a score.

Westview (Avondale, Ariz.) - 21
Jai Johnson scored a pair touchdowns for Hamilton and Kyren Poe and Malcolm Holland each scored in the second quarter to lift Hamilton to its second win of the season.
No. 17 Colerain (Cincinnati, Ohio) - 44
Elder (Cincinnati, Ohio) - 12
Trayion Durham ran 18 times for 143 yards and a touchdown while Curtis Jester gained 110 yards on 11 carres with a score for Colerain. According to Cincinnati.com, Colerain has won 54 straight home games since 1999.
No. 18 Armwood (Seffner, Fla.) - 42
Newsome (Lithia, Fla.) - 7
Matt Jones rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns to lead Armwood to a season-opening win over Newsome. Josh Grady added 150 yards passing and had a 38-yard touchdown pass to Wade Edwards. Grady also scored on a 27-yard run.
No. 19 Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, Calif.) - 42
Bakersfield (Bakersfield, Calif.) - 28
Chaiyse Hales completed 15 of 24 passes for 312 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Jackrabbits past the Drillers in the season opener between two of the winningest programs in California high school football history. Bakersfield had a reported 704 wins entering the 2010 season, making it the all-time winningest school in the state according to Cal-Hi Sports. Long Beach Poly had 691 wins heading into the season.

Donovonn Young ran for 134 yards and four touchdowns for Katy and teammate Adam Taylor, a sophomore, had 146 yards on 10 carries in Katy's second win of the season (2-0).
No. 21 Stony Point (Round Rock, Texas) - 56
Wagner (San Antonio, Texas) - 14
Sam Kelley had three touchdown runs and also caught a touchdown pass for Stony Point (2-0). He had runs of 5, 2 and 20 yards and gathered in a 52-yard pass from Gus Barrera.

Serra (San Mateo, Calif.) - 7
The Spartans have struggled in their season opener against Serra in the past, but not this year. Lucas Dunne rushed 10 times for 164 yards and two touchdowns while Joe Te'o had 79 yards for the Spartans in the 45-7 win. Blake Renaud and Dylan Wynn sparked the defense and allowed the Spartans to stretch their unbeaten streak against Northern California teams to 200 straight games since 1991, according to Inside Bay Area.com

Breon Key had three touchdowns for Phoebus, catching a pair of touchdown passes and returning a punt score a score. Eric Enderson ran for 90 yards on 13 carries and also scored on an 8-yard run.

Vance (Charlotte, N.C.) - 14
Deion Walker scored four touchdowns for Butler and Jahwan Edwards added 121 yards rushing on 22 carries.

Austin (Austin, Texas) - 66
Belton (Belton, Texas) - 63
Austin and Belton combined for 129 points and 1,091 yards Friday with the Maroons gaining a 66-63 win over Belton. According to stats reported to the Austin Statesman, David Ash of Belton accounted for eight touchdowns on the night as he completed six scoring tosses and also ran for a pair of touchdowns. Ash completed 30 of 41 passes for 450 yards. He also ran for 49 yards in the contest. Ash's counterpart, Austin's Jordan Jaquez, racked up seven touchdowns, including six passing and one rushing. He completed 30 of 42 passes for 410 yards. His favorite target, Cayleb Jones, caught 13 passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns.
