Monday brought a select group of targeted tweaks to the 2023 Top247 football rankings. By small group, we mean eight, to be precise. In no way is today's Top247 tweaking representative of a full-fledged typical rankings release; rather, it's the first step this offseason of instituting an intentionally more fluid approach to the Top247 evaluation and executive processes.
With the spring evaluation period ramping up for college coaching staffs and recruits, the 247Sports national team felt compelled to provide some more frequent updates based on our own spring semester evaluations to date. Tweaks will not necessarily happen every single week, but as deemed appropriate. The next traditional, full-fledged update to the 2023 Top247 rankings will occur mid-summer, but making some targeted, precision changes between now and then make the process more efficient and open.
Adebawore (No. 104 overall, 93 rating) is well on his way to becoming an impact player in college and possibly beyond, considering his outstanding overall profile from a projection standpoint. The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder out of North Kansas City High School owns a 7-foot wingspan, giving him immense physical potential considering his functional athleticism and strong testing. He's also participated in power lifting and several track and field events, including the 4x100 relay, shot put, long jump, and triple jump, providing a layered athletic foundation.
