Maryland Academy Tech & Health Sciences (Baltimore, Md.) triumphed over No. 164
Silver Oak Academy (Keymar, Md.) 20-6.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the second quarter, Maryland Academy Tech & Health Sciences led 8-0 at the half.
MATHS grew its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. The Baltimore school scored once in the quarter on a defensive touchdown.
Silver Oak Academy's only touchdown came on a 30-yard pass in the fourth quarter.
Maryland Academy Tech & Health Sciences had given up an average of 15.6 points prior to the contest.
MATHS avenged last year's 16-2 loss to Silver Oak Academy with the victory.
The victory was a step in the right direction for the Baltimore school, which was coming off a 30-6 defeat at the hands of Wilmington Friends in its previous game. The defeat comes as a step back for Silver Oak Academy, which notched a 29-6 victory over National Christian Academy in its previous outing.
