In nearly one month until school begins, meaning high school basketball's transfer season is in full swing.
Many big names have already announced their intentions to transfer for the upcoming season with Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.), IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), Hillcrest Prep (Phoenix) and Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.) making the biggest splashes.
Look for transfer season to ramp up until the opening tip as one of the craziest summers keeps supplying breaking news daily to the high school basketball community.
Top 20 high school basketball impact transfers
To: Dream City Christian (Glendale, Ariz.)
From: Rainer Beach (Seattle)
Impact:
The 6-foot-6 wing will be the immediate catalyst for an up-and-coming
program after averaging 26 points, 11
rebounds and five assists as a junior.
From: Norcross (Ga.)
Impact: The two-time defending state champions are jockeying for the top spot in the preseason rankings after adding a handful of elite transfers, including Boston, a MaxPreps Junior All-American honorable mention selection.
Impact: A loaded crop of incoming transfers have put Sunrise Christian Academy in position to begin the season as a Top 10 squad. The 6-7 wing averaged 17.5 points per game as an East Ridge sophomore.
From: Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.)
Impact:
After one season at Oak Hill Academy, the 6-8 forward is expected to
join the defending GHSAA Class AAAAAAA champions, teaming with defending MaxPreps Player of the Year
Sharife Cooper.
Impact: Burst onto the scene after a stellar sophomore season that saw him earn a GHSAA All-State honorable mention selection. The 6-6 guard will be the catalyst for a strong returning core.

had no choice but to find a new school after perennial powerhouse Findlay Prep shuttered. The 5-star chose to join

Impact:
Regarded as a Top 10 player in the class of 2021 by 247sports, the 6-9
forward joins the aforementioned Edwards and Co. at
Hillcrest Prep.
Impact:
The elite 6-5 guard is one of the biggest name on the transfer market and plans
to join a Prolific Prep squad that continues its rise to national
prominence.
Impact: After averaging 15.4 points per game as a junior, the 6-10 big man announced he would attend Miller with hopes of getting the defending state finalists over the hump next season.

After initially announcing he would be attending Hillcrest Prep, the
6-3 guard decided to head farther west to join a Fairfax squad that
finished No. 48 in our final Top 100 rankings last year.

Impact: Top 50 class of 2021 big man recently announced he would join the first-year program alongside 5-star wing Beauchamp to form an elite one-two punch.
Impact: The 6-5 guard skyrocketed up the rankings, while picking up a handful of high-major offers after a strong summer. He averaged a team-high 14.2 points per game for Team Final during Nike EYBL regular season play.
Impact: Skilled 6-4 combo guard teams up with
Cameron Thomas to form another strong backcourt duo for the Warriors next season. Expect more big names to be on the move to Oak Hill Academy before the season.
