MaxPreps California Regional Bowl Game Matchups

Only eight new teams joined the MaxPreps California Regional Bowl Game matchups this week, with the most significant changes occurring among the lower divisions.

From the Sac-Joaquin Section Division VI, Hilmar replaces perennial selection Bradshaw Christian and is slotted in the Class 5A North division.

Meanwhile from the Northern Section Division V, Quincy takes over for Fall River. It marks the first time that a team other than Fall River has represented the Northern Section Division V since the rankings began last year.

MaxPreps determines its regional matchup predictions based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. Care is also taken to avoid regional matchups between teams from the same section when possible. The team's record from this year and its current computer ranking are included in the regional matchups.
