The game between
St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and
Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) on Saturday was one of the most heavily-anticipated of the season.
In the showdown, Don Bosco Prep knocked off Aquinas, then-ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps Composite Top 25, 24-7, thanks to a suffocating defense and several big plays on offense.
The win lifted Don Bosco Prep to No. 2 in the
MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.
