The Bobcats were going to need a heroic effort to overcome national Top 10 power Allen in the Texas Class 6A Division I playoffs. But even West's effort wasn't enough as San Angelo Central fell 34-21.
That's a strong testament to just how good Allen (13-0) might be as San Angelo Central (12-1) had won all 12 games this season by 14 points or more.
