St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) erase a 14-10 deficit and defeat Bergen Catholic 31-14.
In the process, he uncorked perhaps one of the longest throws high school football has ever seen.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Notre Dame commit threw a deep pass to favorite target
Minkah Fitzpatrick, who got behind Bergen Catholic's secondary.
The ball traveled approximately 65 yards, from St. Peter's Prep's own 30-yard line to the 5-yard line of Bergen Catholic, where Fitzpatrick hauled it in and continued into the end zone for the score.
Fitzpatrick celebrated the touchdown in unique fashion, by calmly shaking the hand of a bystander on the sideline.
St. Peter's Prep will take on Paramus Catholic in two weeks for the non-public Group IV state title.
